Each natural Deer Shank Bone Treats has hair and skin removed, then is soaked for a minimum of 2 hours in 5% salt solution. The shank pieces are covered in beef weasand (windpipe) meat, then dried in a controlled atmosphere and cut to appropriate dog treat sized lengths.
Each deer shank bone treat measures approximately 6 inches long and weighs about 4.6 ounces (130 g).
